I'm so happy to be able to present my new blog. The very talented Jeanne Jones designed it for me, and I hope to enjoy it for a long time to come. It is also my earnest hope that you will visit it from time to time.

My new novel, The Unsurrendered, is due out in about two weeks also. It is the last book in my trilogy about WWII in the Philippines, The Pearl of the Orient. The main characters are an American secret agent, Jacob, and Carla, a Filipina, who loves him. They are ordered by General MacArthur to go behind Japanese enemy lines with a codebreaking machine and to set up a guerrilla unit on Mindanao. It's exciting, and different for me.
